DTBook, or DAISY Digital Talking Book, is an XML file format that adheres to the Digital Accessible Information System (DAISY) technical standard. DAISY is designed to provide digital audio books, periodicals, and computerised text as a complete audio substitute for print material, specifically for individuals with print disabilities such as blindness, impaired vision, and dyslexia. DTBook enables its readers to navigate easily and listen to its content.
At DataNZ, we provide comprehensive DAISY XML conversion services for all types of documents. We convert documents into XML.doc files that meet the requirements of our clients for DTBooks production. Our DTBook DTD conforms to DAISY Consortium Standards and follows the latest version, DTBook-2005-3.dtd. The end product can be accessed and listened to on various devices such as multimedia devices, mobile phones, and PCs.
